J&K Bank reports Rs 72 crore profit in Q2


Jammu & Kashmir Bank today reported a net profit of Rs 71.6 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. 


It had posted a loss of Rs 602.40 crore in the July- September quarter of the last financial year. 

However, the bank's total income for the quarter under review declined to Rs 1,771.46 crore from Rs 1,816.67 crore in the year-ago period.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank Q1 net profit up 32%

Jammu & Kashmir Bank reported 32 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 30.19 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2017.

It bank had reported a net profit of Rs 22.88 crore in April-June 2016.

Total income of the bank rose to Rs 1,790.53 crore in April-June 2017, from Rs 1,789.05 crore in the year ago period, the bank said in a regulatory filing.

Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Bank Q4 result, loss may widen sharply to Rs 106 cr

Jammu & Kashmir Bank is expected to post a standalone loss of Rs 106.5 crore for the quarter ended March 2017 against loss of Rs 56 crore in same quarter last year.

Net interest income, the difference between interest earned and interest expended, may fall 4.5 percent to Rs 617.9 crore compared with Rs 647.1 crore in corresponding quarter of last fiscal, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

Jammu and Kashmir(J&K) Bank Q3 result, post net loss at Rs498 crore

Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Saturday reported a net loss at Rs498.47 crore for the third quarter ended December 2016, mainly due to sharp jump in provisions for bad loans.
The bank had reported a net profit of Rs117.68 crore in the year-ago period. Its total income also decreased to Rs1,770.2 crore from Rs1,806.08 crore in the same period last fiscal, the bank said in a BSE filing.

The total provisions excluding income tax increased over threefold to Rs726.28 crore, as against Rs239.67 crore in the year-ago period. Gross NPA (non-performing assets) as a percentage of total advances rose significantly to 11.84%, from 6.81% a year earlier. The bank’s net NPA stood at 5.99%, from 2.60% at the end of December 2015.
In a separate filing, Jammu and Kashmir Bank said its board of directors have approved the proposal for further issue of equity shares of the bank up to a maximum of Rs250 crore (including the premium amount) on a preferential allotment basis to the government of Jammu and Kashmir, the promoter and majority shareholder of the bank, subject to approvals.
