The incident came to light after Kumar fled the branch on the pretext of going to the toilet. Following the discovery, the branch manager, Vandana Ranjan, lodged a formal complaint with Gardanibagh police, who registered a case on October 14.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on October 9 when a customer approached the branch requesting a withdrawal of Rs 10 lakh. The incident has left bank staff and customers in shock, with authorities tightening security measures to prevent further such cases. This is a developing story and more details will be provided soon.
